"In loving memory of Willy, who loved the wild."
"Aooooowwww! Love the Wild!"
I am trying to raise $1000 this week to support our 2020 class of Wild Gift Fellows, who will be announced in July.
Many of you have supported Wild Gift in the past, or are at least aware of the impact this great little organization has had on my life.
For those who are unfamiliar... each year, Wild Gift selects a group of environmental entrepreneurs for a fellowship rooted in wilderness-based programs that develop leadership and business skills while building a lifelong support network.
I was part of the first Wild Gift class in 2003. I was given a life-changing, 20-day trek through the Alaskan wilderness with a group of people that to this day are among my closest advisors and friends. Wild Gift helped support my own business venture, Tamarack Media, when both organizations were in their infancy.
For as long as I have been in my job with Tamarack, I have remained an active volunteer with Wild Gift, trying to give back to this organization that believed in me at a critical point early in my career. I have been rewarded with class after class of outstanding Wild Gift Fellows, all trying to do something good for the world through their own entrepreneurial endeavors. Their work feels more important than ever. You can read about our current class here: wildgift.org/2019fellows
I know you all have other causes you support, and that the pandemic has likely affected your priorities. That said, even a small donation will go a long way to helping me meet my goal. I appreciate any help you can provide. Thank you!
